An aromatic white wine, Santa Digna is 100% Gewurztraminer, sourced from vineyards in the Central Valley the wine undergoes a cool fermentation and is not oak aged

This is a bright, crisp wine with a pretty lemon, limestone and slightly floral nose.
The palate is citrusy, mostly lemon backed up with some peach, green apple and more minerality.
Bin 29 - Sancerre, Domaine du Pre Semele £25.00
The small family owned domaine is run by brothers Julien and Clement Raimbault and located in the hamlet of Maimbray to the north of the village of Sancerre. Their vineyards are mainly on the 'terres blanches' clay-chalk soils which ten to give the wines a ripe fruit character. And this certainly shows through in the finished product. Full of gooseberry fruit and zesty acidity, it's full and round while maintaining a mouthwatering freshness
